Winter
Tomorrow's
Child
Wednesday
Held in humility's sway
But grateful anyway

And so the Raven cries
In the darkest sky
upon a veil of haste
Ever upward my gaze extends
Yet, the view is beyond my reach
"Endless"
The horizon omitted

Wisdom's morrow
has no blood for else one
Ice sparkled blue
like crystal plumes
Black Irises and Eyes
Hence; the smoke
Mirrored True

Today holds little mystery
Tomorrow's blessed with the
Silver Seal of Mercury
Platinum too
A Silver Window
Smoked blue; Keen
Excellence;
Tides True

Ivy Noctum
The Blackbirds Column
The earth shinning on wet pavement
is where all roads lead to blue

Not disguised Black-tie
An Empty Martini Glass
Dry
No Vermouth
The glass unbroken
No air, fate bequeathed
A black stone stared, from beneath

The Doves Denied
In phosphorescent Blue
Eyes deigned,
and died
Veiled within the Mist
Alle' Mann eyes were Grey
The Blackbirds Column
Ferrous phosphate
Yellow hued in coal

The Canary is yellow
It has no plumes of coal
and sometimes;
like the Iguana
its colored in copper oxides;
greens and blues

An Army
Dark; like burnt 'suga'
replete with blank stares
The Eye of the Needle
Doesn't play games;
Doesn't dare

Information Bombs

Poem by Mary Margaret Park

information

tons of it

compression waves

spilling from our computer screens

A-bombs crowding

the mind’s horizon

origins

unknown

time slot stampede

marked and dated

obsolete upon arrival

the relevant

and the arcane

random and

specific

a vast

weigh station

of data

a race for the latest

it’s eclipse
